Born in Coventry, Rhode Island, Greg
Gormley is a Managing Partner of KAY Studios. Mr.
Gormley began his career in 1985 as a Mechanical Engineer
with Dynamic Systems, Inc. in Middletown, Rhode Island,
working on military contracts involving the design
of MK48 and ADCAP Torpedo System components and procedures.
In 1988, Mr. Gormley began work as a
Laboratory Technician at Organic Dyestuffs, an international
corporation specializing in the production and distribution
of industrial dyes and colorants. After 18 years,
Mr. Gormley became President of the company.
In addition to operating Organic Dyestuffs
Corporation, Mr. Gormley also owns Narragansett Realty
Corporation and Brown Trout Properties, both based
in Rhode Island.
In 2006, Mr. Gormley was contacted by
his close friend of 25 years, Marcus Thomas, to discuss
creating Rhode Island’s first full-service motion-picture-production
company, which would eventually be called KAY Studios.
Mr. Gormley resides in Coventry,
Rhode Island with his two daughters.
